The Lord of Life Church

Yes, Lord of Life Lutheran Church was formerly a horse stable!  It was officially dedicated on November 6, 2004. In the last year we have put on a new roof, added a prayer garden thanks to Boy Scout Nicholas Storm of Troop 277 as his Eagle Scout project, added new ceiling fans with lights, painted the outside of the church, landscaped around the entrance, added a Little Free Library just inside the door to exchange books, and more!

It is a simple experience to worship here with a 'come as you are' approach. We focus on getting in touch with God surrounded by nature and no distractions other than the occasional dog that might bark! Yes, well behaved dogs are welcomed at our church and we celebrate their role in our lives every October with the Blessing of the Animals.

We are a small, warm congregation with a big heart that looks to do good in the community and share our faith and we welcome you to join us. Despite appearances (which can be deceiving), our members include school principals, lawyers, teachers, realtors, pilots, marketing managers and other professionals along with happily retired folks and some consistent snow birds that spend the winter with us! We all enjoy the humble sweet building.
